I always found O. Redon a very special artist, for the colour composition, the symbolic, the atmosphere that is created. It's something to be lost in. . . - the ones you posted are beautiful, dreamy, others I've seen are darker, sometimes a bit scary.
I very much like to go to exhibitions, look at art in a museum, and very often have noticed that what makes me like it or not, is not something rational, analytical or logical - but indeed felt, and sometimes it hard to put it into words.
I've never seen any of the ones you posted before - some of them seem like remnants from older times, a (roman) fresco of which only parts remain, earthy, natural colours, realistic shapes, but then there's a special light, the sparkle from the box in the boat etc. - intriguing and beautiful - a sign from a different world? an angel?
I guess, it's clear that the answer to you second and third question is yes! I'd love to read / see more of that.
