Five ways to become "a millionaire in time"

Last week, we started walking through the steps of my Quiet Life in Seven Steps podcast series — so you could get a taste of them, and have the chance to discuss them with each other. Today, we’re going to continue with Step One - which includes the question of how to become a “millionaire in time".
A gazillion years ago, when my husband Ken and I were first dating, we saw an obscure documentary about the poet laureate Billy Collins, who described himself as "a millionaire in time." Ken and I looked at each other in the darkened movie theater and nodded: from then on, that was our aspiration, too.
Of course, life intervenes with such dreams. There are bills to pay, kids to raise, aging parents to look after. You might be at a stage of life where you have no free time at all, where being a time-millionaire seems like a distant dream.
But, aside from big moves, like changing careers or planning for retirement, here are five things we all can do to put a little savings into our banks of time:
