The artist Henri Le Sidaner was known as an “Intimist”, which pretty much sums up the vibe — intimate — of our Candlelight Chats. So today, we feature his work.

Many of you have requested that we devote a Candlelight Chat to the phenomenon of being a “highly sensitive person” - what it’s like to be one, its challenges, its unexpected rewards.

So, we’re going to do that, tomorrow - from 1-2 pm ET, on Zoom!

Please come with your thoughts, experiences, and questions (though as usual, you’re welcome to share them in writing, via the chat box, or not at all; that is, you’re welcome to participate purely by listening).

Tomorrow’s Candlelight Chat will be “just us” – meaning, no esteemed guest this time - just a chance for us to talk to each other.

As promised, we’re also going to discuss the poem, “The Peace of Wild Things,” by Wendell Berry. See below, to read the poem in advance.

You’ll also be able to “ask me anything” - whether on the above topics or not (though as usual we won’t be covering politics).
